Easy Electric Blue Margarita Recipe with Blue Curacao – Champagne and Coconuts

Electric Blue Margaritas are pure tropical enchantment. Blue Curacao gives them such a vibrant “electric” blue color and delicious orange flavor.

• 1 1/2 ounce Tequila
• 1 ounce Blue Curacao
• 1/2 ounce Triple Sec
• 1 ounce Lime Juice
• 1 dash Sour Mix
• Salt For the Rim Optional

• Blue Margaritas are meant to be shaken so that some air gets in the mix to help boost its color. Shaking also helps to chill the drink too. Before you mix the drink, you will want to rim your glass with salt if you like a salted rim and fill the glass with ice.
• Put a cup of ice in your shaker.
• In your shaker, pour your tequila, blue curacao, lime juice, and sour mix over the ice.
• Pour the mixture over the ice in your margarita glass.
• Garnish with a lime wheel and enjoy!
