Slow Cooker Hot Holiday Punch is the perfect beverage to sip all autumn and winter long.

When the days grow cold, I start thinking about warm Autumn and Winter beverages.

There is something truly special about sitting curled up in your favorite chair with a lap blanket and a big steaming mug of some delicious seasonal drink.

And one of my personal favorites is this Slow Cooker Hot Holiday Punch.

Easy Slow Cooker Hot Holiday Punch

This drink is not only incredibly tasty – it is unique.

If you’ve come to expect all Autumn and Winter beverages to be some variation on apple, egg nog, or hot chocolate, this holiday punch will be a true delight.

An enticing combination of cranberry, pineapple, cinnamon, and cloves, this refreshing and spicy punch warms you up on every level.

This Slow Cooker Hot Holiday Punch is awesome for holiday parties of all kinds and is especially suited for Christmas dinner.

The recipe is flexible enough to easily accommodate any size gathering.

And you can also serve it as is or “spike” it with spiced rum or whiskey for any adults who’d prefer a hot toddy.

This tasty punch is one of those delightful gifts that you can just keep enjoying throughout the cold months.

And if you decide to whip up a batch in the summer – that’s just fine, too!

Ingredients to Make Slow Cooker Hot Holiday Punch

  • 1 qt Cranberry Juice
  • ½ qt pineapple juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6-8 whole cloves
  • Optional: Spike with spiced rum or whiskey to make a hot toddy
  • Cinnamon Sticks, for garnish
  • Orange Wheels, for garnish

Note: You will want to have at least one cinnamon stick and oragne wheel for each glass you plan to serve if you are including the garnishes.

How to Make Slow Cooker Hot Holiday Punch

Pre-Step: Line your slow cooker with a Slow Cooker Liner to make cleanup fast and easy.

Pour all liquid ingredients (except any alcohol) into the slow cooker.

Add the cinnamon sticks and cloves.

Cover and simmer on low for one hour.

Optional: If adding alcohol, pour a shot into your mug.

To serve the punch,  pour the punch through a strainer to catch any cloves.

Optional Garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange wheel

How to prevent evaporation

If you will be serving this beverage for a lengthy period of time, be sure to keep the crock pot on low.

Cover the pot with the lid, to keep the drink warm and to prevent evaporation.

If you notice the drink evaporating, you will want to add more juice.

Do you have to make the Hot Holiday Punch in the Slow Cooker?

No.

You can make the punch on your stove top too!

It will heat quickly, so you will want to warm it on a very low setting.

I like to let it warm in a covered dutch oven to help prevent evaporation.

Once it becomes hot, it will evaporate quickly, so you will want to keep it warm on the lowest heat possible.

Be sure to close the lid when you aren’t serving.

If you love cranberries, you owe it to yourself to try this delicious Frosted Cranberry Cocktail for the holidays.

Simple and refreshing, all you need is some cranberries, cranberry juice, and some vodka to put together this festive beverage!

It’s a delightful twist on the Cape Cod to make a fun and festive cranberry Christmas cocktail.

Say that three times fast!

A Christmas Cocktail with Cranberry and Vodka

You’ll love this festive Sugared Cranberry Cape Cod cocktail. It’s such a fun twist on the classic recipe that’s perfect for the holidays!

If you are watching your sugar, this drink is quite tasty just as it is.

But if sugar is no issue for you, be sure to add our Sugared Cranberry Cocktail Garnish to your drink!

In fact, you can even use Sugared Cranberries instead of regular ones in the drink itself, if you’d like!

We all know how busy we get through the holidays.

A simple drink to make

Cooking, visiting with friends and family, and finding time to shop for those perfect presents – it can get a little overwhelming sometimes.

The utter simplicity of the Frosted Cranberry Cocktail is sure to be a welcome addition to your holidays.

And it looks so bright and beautiful when you serve it to others, they’re sure to be impressed!

Just don’t tell them how easy it was to make.

That will be our little secret!

To make this a low-calorie version or our cranberry drink, you can substitute the cranberry juice for Cranberry Frost Sparkling Ice.

Doing so removes 110 calories from the recipe.

Our Frosted Cranberry Cocktail is perfect to serve during the holidays.

Simple and refreshing, this festive beverage is a spirited twist on a Cape Cod, especially when garnished with sugared cranberries.

Ingredients you need to make the Frosted Cranberry Cocktail

  • Cranberries (you can use regular or the sugared ones inside the drink, too!)
  • Vodka
  • Cranberry juice
  • Sugared cranberries for garnish, optional, but so tasty!

To make the drink, you will need: your beverage glass, a measuring cup or jigger,  and a bar spoon.

You build the drink in the glass, so it’s really that simple.

Can I serve this cranberry cocktail without alcohol?

Sure! And it’s really easy.

It’s easy to enjoy a virgin version of our Frosted Cranberry drink.

Simply replace the vodka with some club soda and enjoy a nice cranberry spritzer.

You can use fresh of frozen cranberries in the drink. Both will taste great. The frozen ones will help keep the drink colder without watering it down.

How to make the Frosted Cranberry Cocktail

It doesn’t get much easier to make a tasty drink than one like this where you make the drink in the glass you plan to serve it in.

We’ve used a glass that you might use for a daiquiri or a hurricane, but you can use whatever glass you like.

We also like to serve it in a highball or even a martini glass.

When we serve it in a martini glass, we do chill the drink in a cocktail shaker and serve it without ice in the glass.

So that is one extra step, but it’s worth it!

We also recommend making the sugared cranberries ahead of time.

To make the drink, start by adding the ice and cranberries to your glass.

You can use fresh or frozen cranberries.

In fact, if you’re using frozen cranberries, they will help to chill the drink without watering it down.

You don’t want to add too much ice to the glass as you want to be able to stir the drink easily.

Start by adding the ice and cranberries to your glass.

Measure and pour the vodka and cranberry juice over the ice, and give the drink a gentle stir to combine the mixture.

Put two or three sugared cranberries on a cocktail pick to make the garnish, and enjoy!

Can I make the drink ahead of time?

Yes, you can premix the cranberry juice and vodka ahead of time and chill it in the refrigerator.

Then that all you have to do is pour when it’s time to serve.

You can also make the sugared cranberry garnish ahead of time too.

In fact, if I’m serving the drink with this garnish, I like to make at least a double batch.

One batch for garnish and one batch to eat like candy.

You’ll be amazed how people really love to nibble on them.

Orange Cranberry Punch is an absolute delight for your taste buds.

Are you looking for possibly the perfect fall drink?

When you combine the flavors of cranberry and orange, you know that the perfect drink truly can exist.

This Orange Cranberry Punch recipe will have you rushing back to fill your cup one more time.

Enjoy sipping some Orange Cranberry Punch

Orange Cranberry Punch is perfect to make a glass for yourself or by the pitcher or punch bowl for a gathering.

While you can easily make this drink recipe up for yourself, where’s the fun in that?

Sharing with others is always a lot more fun!

Make up a batch of this delicious drink and you’ll be celebrating with friends all night long.

The next time you’re looking for a drink with a “punch”, this Orange Cranberry Cocktail drink is a great choice for you.

Serving Cranberry Orange Punch

What I love about this simple punch recipe is that you literally just need 6 simple ingredients to make it up.

And since two of the ingredients are juice, it has to be kind of healthy, right?!

If you like the flavors of vodka and triple sec, just wait until you try this tasty combination.

I can’ stress enough how good this tastes over ice! It’s one of my favorite punch recipes, ever.

This is the kind of drink that really transcends seasons.

That said, I really enjoy the orange cranberry flavor combo in the fall and winter.

And of course, those flavors (and the color) is perfect for Halloween and Thanksgiving events.

And if you want to serve it for Christmas, why not?

It’s delicious then too. And no one would blame you if you threw in a cinnamon stick and some cloves… Just sayin’.

We love serving this drink year round, but the orange and cranberry flavors really shine during the fall and winter months. It’s perfect for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas too!

What kind of food would pair well with this punch?

Anytime I’m drinking an alcoholic drink that’s a little bit sweet, I’m a big fan of pairing it up with cheese or sliced meat.

This punch is absolutely divine with a charcuterie board.

It’s just a simple contrasting taste that really lets the flavor of the drink come true.

Ingredients to make Orange Cranberry Punch

You you make the drink right in your wine glass if you’re making a single serving!

  • Ice
  • Vodka
  • Triple Sec
  • Orange Juice
  • Cranberry Juice
  • *optional orange slices

To make the drink, you will also need: a cutting board and knife, a measuring cup or jigger, and a wine glass.

Can I serve this drink by the pitcher?

Yes! This drink is ideal to make by the pitcher or to fill a punch bowl.

To multiply the recipe, make it with cups instead of ounces.

For example, use 1.5 cups of vodka and triple sec and 2 cups of orange and cranberry juices.

You can make it ahead of time too if you plan on serving it for an event.

Just put cover the pitcher and refrigerate it in advance.

I find that it’s really good if you refrigerate it overnight, but I think it loses a little sparkle if you try to refrigerate it more than one night ahead of time.

If you are serving it in a punch bowl and would like to make an ice cube ring, mix equal parts orange and cranberry juices together and pour them into your mold.

Freeze the mold overnight while the punch chills.

Can I serve this drink without alcohol?

Yes. You can serve this as a non-alcoholic punch too!

You’ll need to omit the vodka and triple sec.

But you will need to make up the volume, particularly if you’re making a large batch of the recipe.

I like to substitute lemon-lime soda for the vodka and use more orange juice for the triple sec.

Optionally, since triple sec is sweet, if you would like, you may add simple syrup a teaspoon at a time until you have it just the way you like it.

How to Make an Orange Cranberry Punch

This drink is really easy to make either by the individual glass or by the pitcher.

If you’re making a glass for yourself, you can mix it right in your wine glass.

Simply fill the glass with ice and pour the vodka and triple sec over ice.

You’ll first pour the triple sec and the vodka.

Then pour the orange juice.

Top with the cranberry juice and garnish with an orange slice.

Next, pour the orange juice followed by the cranberry juice.

If you are making it by the pitcher, you’ll multiply the recipe as instructed above.

If you are making it ahead of time, skip adding the ice to the pitcher.

Otherwise, add the vodka and triple sec to the pitcher. Then add the orange and cranberry juices.

If you wish to infuse some orange slices, you may do so and let that chill with the pitcher.

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate.

When it’s time to serve, fill your beverage glass with ice or put your ice ring in the punch bowl and pour the drink over the ice.

Kids are not allowed to touch the Elf on the Shelf or the elf loses its magic.

Make sure your kids know this rule so their elf keeps coming back every night.

Although your elf won’t talk to your kids, he does listen.

Your kids can tell them the things they want for Christmas or the good deeds they’ve done throughout the day.

Your elf will take everything they tell him back to Santa that night when he travels back to the North Pole.

Once your kids go to bed, your elf flies back to the North Pole to help Santa prepare for Christmas.

That’s why he’s in a different place every morning.

Part of the fun of inviting an elf to stay at your house is to search for them in the morning to see what kind of trouble they’ve gotten into that night.

Your elf will visit your house each day leading up to Christmas Eve, but they have to head back to the North Pole that night to help Santa deliver presents.

They’ll stay there until next Christmas, when they’ll come back and visit your family again.

The date your elf arrives really depends on when your family starts celebrating Christmas.

While some elves start arriving in homes the day after Thanksgiving, others don’t arrive until the first of December.

And some don’t follow the calendar at all.

Instead, they arrive on the day the Christmas tree is set up or any other day you choose.

When your elf first arrives, it’s a great idea to remind everyone of the elf rules.

A handy way to do this is to use this free printable with the elf rules all ready to go. You can print it out, frame it, stick it to the refrigerator with a magnet, or whatever you like.

Have fun planning your elf activities and enjoy your holiday!

Remember, the elf is watching!
