The Chocolate Raspberry Martini is a must try drink for those who love dessert drinks.

I really love simple drinks – especially when they don’t TASTE “simple.”

It’s pretty fun to just shake a few ingredients together and end up with a drink that makes people widen their eyes with surprised pleasure when they take a sip.

The Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini is just such a drink.

A Delicious Raspberry Martini Recipe

Served up in a nice martini glass with a garnish of fresh raspberries, the Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini is beautiful, but a touch deceptive.

Looking at it, your holiday guests will fully expect it to taste of raspberries.

But when they discovered the chocolatey richness hiding inside, it will be a true delight.

The true secret to the Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini, however, is the Crème de Cassis.

Made from blackcurrants, Crème de Cassis adds a depth of flavor that takes this martini from “really yummy” to “off the charts”.

The Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini is the perfect special occasion drink.

Whether you serve it at your next Christmas party or enjoy one with your beloved while sitting near a roaring fire, you’ll be happy to include this delicious cocktail in all your holiday celebrations!

Chocolate Blackcurrant and Raspberry Martini

This drink is so beautiful to look at, it just screams “serve me at a party!”

It’s truly perfect to serve at your New Year’s Eve parties, for Valentine’s Day, or even a wedding or bridal shower.

Like many martini recipes, this drink is strong. S

o while it tastes delicious, be mindful that the only ingredient in the recipe that doesn’t contain alcohol is the raspberry garnish.

The chocolate covered raspberry martini is simple to make but doesn’t taste like it.

It’s perfect to serve for New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day or weddings.

Thank you to our friends at Van Gogh vodka for sharing their recipe and photography with us.

Ingredients you need to make the Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini

(serves 2)

  • 4 oz. Van Gogh Raspberry vodka
  • 2 oz. Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz. Crème de cassis
  • Raspberries, for garnish

You will need a cocktail shaker, martini glasses, and optionally, a cocktail pick for each drink.

Note: Since this recipe makes use of flavored vodkas, there are some substitutions you can make if you don’t have flavored vodka on hand.

If you wish to make the drink with regular vodka, you can add a teaspoon of raspberry puree and a teaspoon of chocolate syrup to each drink.

Can I make a non-alcoholic chocolate raspberry martini?

Yes, you sure can!

Like I mentioned in the note above if you don’t have flavored vodkas you can substitute raspberry puree and chocolate syrup.

You can do that to make a non alcoholic version of the drink too.

Just omit the vodka and replace it with the syrups.

But you will need to make up the lost volume.

To do that, I like to use club soda.

To replace the creme de cassis, you may also use blackcurrant syrup for its replacement.

Now that we’ve replaced 3 ingredients with syrups, the drink will be sweeter.

I like to use just a little at a time to see how it tastes the first time I make the replacement.

Less is more to begin, and you may find that you prefer more or less than 1 tsp of syrup per drink depending on your sweet tooth.

If you are adding club soda, you’ll need to make the drink a bit differently.

You’ll want to mix the syrups together in a mixing glass and add a bit of club soda to thin it out a bit.

Then stir it again.

Pour into the glass and then top it with club soda.

You may need to stir the drink again, but do so gently so as not to disturb the carbonation.

How to make Chocolate Raspberry Blackcurrant Martinis

Making the drink is very easy.

I like to begin by chilling the martini glasses.

A quick and easy way to do that is to fill them with ice water while you make the drink.

Then pour it out right before you pour the drink.

Just be sure to dry them off if the outside of the glasses get wet.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add the vodkas and creme de cassis to the shaker.

Shake well until the liquid is well-mixed and thoroughly chilled.

Pour into your martini glasses.

To make the garnish, simply thread a cocktail pick through three fresh raspberries and balance the pick on the glass.

Serve and enjoy!

One of the best things to enjoy during the cold winter months of the year is curling up around a steaming hot cup of Peppermint Hot Chocolate Coffee.

Rich, creamy, and deliciously sweet, this beverage is pure comfort in a cup.

If you love a delicious peppermint mocha, you’ll love this recipe.

You may even want to call it candy cane coffee!

Make a cozy cup of Peppermint Hot Chocolate Coffee

A mug about to overflow with warm, delicious Peppermint Hot Chocolate Coffee is the perfect way to enjoy a little slice of heaven on a cold day or night.

If Pumpkin Spice is the flavor of the Autumn, Peppermint is definitely one of the best flavors of the winter holidays.

And beverages like this coffee take full advantage of that amazing flavor.

Start off with a tasty cup of Andes Mint Coffee.

It’s delicious all by itself.

After all, who doesn’t love a tasty cup of chocolate mint coffee?

We used a k cup to make it simple.

But feel free to brew a whole pot of coffee if you’re making multiple drinks.

But when you add the hot chocolate, hot cream, and the melted peppermint white chocolate bar, this tasty coffee treat becomes less of a beverage and more of a dessert.

It’s truly one of our favorite Andes Mint Coffee recipes.

How to serve a peppermint mocha hot chocolate

Top it with Reddi-Whip or homemade whipped cream, some chocolate curls or crushed peppermint,  and dark chocolate syrup.

Then the transition to dessert drink is complete!

Peppermint hot chocolate coffee is the ultimate holiday drink

Make up a large recipe in a crockpot to share at holiday parties.

Or serve some after coming home from caroling.

Prepare a batch to enjoy while opening presents on Christmas morning.

Or make some simply because you love the flavor of peppermint and chocolate.

You can even serve this recipe as a yummy iced peppermint mocha!

There really is no wrong time to enjoy a drink this delicious!

Ingredients you need to make Peppermint Hot Chocolate Coffee

To make the drink, you will need: a coffee maker, a measuring spoon, a sauce pan, a microwave safe bowl, and a mug.

Note: peppermint white chocolate bar isn’t the size of a candy bar, but rather like the size of a mini candy bar.

I like to use these Peppermint Bark Squares from Ghirardelli if I can’t find the minis.

You can also drizzle chocolate syrup instead of melting the chocolate bar if that’s what you have on hand.

If you don’t have the Andes Mint Coffee, the peppermint hot chocolate k cups makes a nice substitution.

Then just mix it in with plain coffee.

Or you can use the candy cane flavored k cups too!

Can I serve candy cane coffee with alcohol?

Sure! You can spike this with some alcohol if you would like.

We have a few suggestions for you.

We like to spike it with peppermint schnapps, Godiva’s Chocolate liqueur, or even your favorite whiskey.

Vodka also goes well in the drink, particularly if you use a flavored one.

Is there anything better than peppermint schnapps, chocolate syrup, and coffee?

YUM!

Enjoy a delicious peppermint mocha anytime! You can serve it hot or cold, and you can garnish it so many different ways!

How to make Peppermint Mocha Coffee

We like to use a large mug for this drink so that there’s plenty of room to mix and of course, to top it off!

Start by brewing the Andes Mint Coffee or other peppermint flavored coffee.

Then warm the heavy cream in a sauce pan until it is hot.

We used a Keurig and a K cup to make it quick and easy, but you can also brew a pot of coffee too.

If you’re concerned about curdling the cream, you may warm it up using a double boiler if you’d like.

If you plan to spike the drink, add an ounce of peppermint schnapps, Godiva chocolate liqueur, Kahlua, whiskey or your other favorite liquor to the mug.

Pour the coffee in the mug and leave a bit of room at the top so you don’t slosh the coffee out when you stir in the hot chocolate mix.

Add 1 tbsp of sweetened hot chocolate mix to the freshly brewed coffee.

Stir it until the chocolate mix has thoroughly dissolved.

Add the hot heavy cream and 1/2 Godiva Peppermint White Chocolate Bark, stir until the white chocolate bar is dissolved.

Top with Reddi-Whip or homemade whipped cream and drizzle with dark chocolate syrup (optional).

If you really want to garnish the drink, you can add a number of festive, seasonal items.

We like to add a candy cane, sprinkles, chocolate jimmies, crushed candy cane pieces, and even drizzle some chocolate syrup on the whipped cream.

And then serve.

Note: If you don’t have the Andes Mint Coffee, you can brew regular coffee and add either peppermint flavored simple syrup or peppermint extract to taste.

Alternatively, you can add a small candy cane or peppermint candy to step 3 and let it dissolve with the chocolate in the cream.

Sparkling Apple Martini with Prosecco | Champagne and Coconuts

maximios Recipes

If you love apples, you will love the Sparkling Apple Martini.

This cocktail is so refreshing, it’s a little like biting into a light, crisp apple.

You even garnish it with beautiful, thin slices of apples!

A Prosecco Martini Recipe

Sparkling Apple Martinis are wonderful throughout the year.

They are truly perfect in the Autumn when apples are harvested.

But they are also so beautiful, tasty, and festive-looking, they are perfect for holiday parties of all sorts.

Especially from Christmas gatherings to New Years Celebrations.

In fact, if your beloved is into apples, these Sparkling Apple Martinis are romantic enough for Valentine’s Day, too!

Healthier fruity cocktails

I’m a big fan of fruity cocktails in all varieties.

Even if it’s just an illusion, drinking a fruity cocktail just feels like it should be healthy.

Or at least healthier than drinks that don’t include fruit.

And if your cocktail is healthier, like this one that has only 206 calories, that means that you don’t have to feel so guilty about indulging in all those other holiday goodies, right?

At least – that’s my story, and I’m stickin’ to it!

This cocktail is perfect to serve year round, especially during the fall when apples are in season.

But it’s so beautiful and festive that it’s a perfect drink to serve for holidays such as Christmas,  New Year’s Eve, and Valentine’s Day.

It’s also perfect to enjoy for brunch alongside your favorite mimosa recipe.

Move over mimosas, the sparkling apple martini with prosecco is here to be your new favorite brunch cocktail!

Thanks to our friends at Van Gogh Vodka for sharing their recipe and photography with us.

Ingredients you need to make Sparkling Apple Martinis

  • 1 oz. Van Gogh Wild Appel
  • 1 oz. Van Gogh Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz. apple purée, such as Perfect Purée Green Apple
  • Splash of prosecco, chilled
  • Apple slices for garnish, sliced thin

You will also need a knife, citrus squeezer, cocktail shaker, cocktail or mesh strainer, and optionally, a mandolin.

Note: If you don’t have apple flavored vodka, you may double the amount of regular vodka and add another half ounce of apple puree.

If you’re preparing items ahead of time for a party, be sure to dip your apple slices in lemon juice.

Doing so helps to keep them from browning.

We don’t really recommend slicing the apples ahead of time, but if you must, that will help.

How to make Sparkling Apple Martinis with Prosecco

To make the drink, first be sure to chill your prosecco in advance.

You may chill it either in the refrigerator or in a champagne bucket.

You may also wish to chill your vodka ahead of time too.

I like to do this in the freezer.

Next, you’ll squeeze your fresh lemon juice for the drinks.

Be sure to strain the seeds from the juice before mixing it in the drink.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Pour the two vodkas, fresh lemon juice and apple puree.

Shake it thoroughly until all of the liquids are well-mixed and thoroughly chilled.

Using a cocktail or mesh strainer, pour the mixture through the strainer into a martini glass.

Top it up with a splash of chilled prosecco.

Garnish with fresh apple slices floating in the drink.

Note: To get your apple slices thin and uniform, use a mandolin.

You’ll get gorgeous, even slices for your garnish.

Pistachi-Gnome Pudding Shots | Champagne and Coconuts

I have to admit that this recipe for Pistachi-Gnome Pudding Shots is one of my favorites.

It’s super fast, easy, and flexible to whip up a batch of these yummy pistachio pudding shots.

And if you use sugar-free instant pudding and fat-free milk, these pudding shots make you feel like you’re seriously indulging .

Even though you aren’t!

Pistachio Pudding Shots with Vodka

Plus, they are so creamy and green and festive, especially when topped with a nice fluffy cloud of whipped cream!

And I do mean it when I say that these Pistachi-Gnome Pudding Shots are flexible.

Use the regular Pistachio Instant Pudding if sugar isn’t an issue.

Although I still recommend the fat-free milk because it seems to set up easier than whole or 2%.)

And if you want your pudding shots a bit stronger, feel free to use more vodka and less milk.

Or leave the vodka out entirely so the kids can enjoy their own Pistachi-Gnome Pudding Shots.

Quick and easy pudding shots for the holidays

These pudding shots are such a quick and easy holiday treat, you might want to consider keeping supplies on hand all through the holiday season.

Whip up a batch at holiday meals or Christmas parties or to enjoy while watching your favorite holiday family film.

And while we’ve named them for gnomes, there’s no reason you can’t serve them for The Grinch!

This is one recipe everyone is sure to love!

(Except, perhaps, your Elf-on-the-Shelf. He might get jealous.)

Yes, we know, Pistachi-gnome is a bad pun for pistachio pudding shots.

But my, we do love some bad puns!

So let’s make some pistachio pudding shots!

Your elf on the shelf will be jealous of our “Pistachi-Gnome” Pudding shots.

After all, a pistachio pudding by any other name would be just as, well, (less) fun.

While we have prepared our Pistachio Pudding Shots with a Christmas theme, they are also perfect to serve for St. Patrick’s Day too!

Minus the gnome shot glasses, naturally.

Ingredients you need to make Pistachi-Gnome (Pistachio) Pudding Shots

  • 1 Pistachio Pudding Packet (we used sugar-free)
  • 4 oz vodka
  • 1 1/2 cups fat-free milk
  • Whipped Cream for topping

Make it a Mocktail instead

It’s really easy to make these without the alcohol.

If you want to serve it without alcohol,  leave out the vodka and use 2 cups of milk instead of 1 1/2 cups of milk.

Simply follow the instructions on the box of instant pistachio pudding mix.

Then scoop some into your shot glass and add a dollop of whipped cream!

How to make Pistachi-Gnome Pudding Shots

In a mixing bowl, combine the pistachio pudding packet, vodka, and milk.

Beat with a whisk for 2 minutes.

Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes before serving.

Using a small scoop, scoop the pudding into your shot glasses and top with a dollop of whipped cream.

Can I make the shots stronger or weaker?

You may adjust the vodka / milk ratio if you like your shots to be stronger or weaker.

If you add two ounces of vodka, take away two ounces of milk, and vice versa.

I don’t recommend using more than 6 ounces of vodka as the pudding needs the milk to set.

Pro tip: Do not use soy milk in this recipe!

It won’t set up well.

I also find that fat-free milk sets up better than whole or 2% milk.

Also, if you give it a bit longer than 5 minutes to set up, the texture will be firmer.

Gingerbread White Russian Cocktail | Champagne and Coconuts

Deliciously decadent, a Gingerbread White Russian is a holiday delight!

A regular White Russian is already crazy delicious.

But this Gingerbread White Russian is creamy, tantalizing, and all dressed up for the holidays.

It has the cream, vodka, and Kahlua that you expect in a White Russian…

But it’s all all amped up with sweet and spicy homemade Gingerbread syrup.

Enjoy a Gingerbread White Russian Cocktail made with homemade gingerbread syrup

If you love Gingerbread like we do, you’ll love serving our Gingerbread White Russian. It’s like the best of both worlds from serving Gingerbread cookies with a glass of milk.

Serving your cocktails up in a cinnamon-rimmed glass with a garnish of cinnamon sticks, your Gingerbread White Russian looks like a Christmas present.

But it’s glittery enough to look quite at home at a New Year’s party, too.

No matter what the occasion, this drink easily adds to the festivities.

The holiday season is a great time for gingerbread, and with this tasty cocktail, you don’t have to stop at cakes and cookies.

Just remember that this sweet and creamy treat is boozy and can go to your head.

Drink cautiously.

After all, you don’t want to end up on Santa’s naughty list!

Homemade gingerbread syrup is a great gift

Our recipe uses a homemade gingerbread syrup.

We like to make the syrup a head of time since it will keep in the fridge for two weeks.

If you want it to last longer than that, add a splash of vodka to the syrup after it cools.

And while you’re at it, make some extra homemade gingerbread syrup to give as a thoughtful homemade gift!

Gingerbread Syrup:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp. molasses
  • 1 tsp. minced ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Ingredients to make the drink:

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 2 oz Homemade Gingerbread Syrup
  • 2 oz Heavy Cream
  • Optional: Cinnamon sticks and gingerbread cookies, for garnish
  • Optional: Ground Cinnamon, for the glass

Note: The homemade gingerbread syrup really adds a lot to this drink.

But there are times when you really want one of these yummy drinks and you want it now.

We get it.

We’re the exact same way.

So if you don’t have time to make the homemade syrup, you may substitute store-bought ginger flavored syrup.

It will still have some of the delicious flavor.

In fact, a lot of it.

It will taste slightly different, but it will still taste really good.

How to Make Gingerbread White Russian Cocktails:

Pre-Steps:

Before you make the drink, you will want to make the homemade gingerbread simple syrup.

If you’ll be putting ground cinnamon on your glasses, you will want to do that before mixing the drink as well.

Make the Gingerbread Syrup

In a medium pot, add water, honey, molasses, ginger and cinnamon.

Stir to combine.

Bring to a boil over high heat.

Boil 3-5 minutes, then remove from the heat.

Stir in the vanilla.

Let cool.

Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Mix the Gingerbread White Russian Drink:

Fill a glass with ice.

Add the vodka, Kahlua, and gingerbread syrup to cocktail shaker.

Shake to combine.

Pour into your glass.

Add the heavy cream and stir.

Garnish with cinnamon and gingerbread cookies.

This Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail is a real crowd pleaser!

At holiday parties and events, I like to serve at least one tasty non-alcoholic drink, or mocktail.

Sure, it’s easy to provide soft drinks and coffee, but why not offer something extra special like our Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail?

It’s nice to have something for my guests to enjoy who either don’t drink alcohol, are a designated driver, or who are underage.

And it’s only 35 calories per serving!

I call that a win!

A Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail is fun for everyone!

Our Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail recipe is absolutely delicious. And it’s so festive.

The ginger beer gives it a rich flavor, and if you use an extra spicy one, it can offer a bit of a kick!

Mix that delicious ginger flavor profile with the cranberries and it’s so yummy.

It’s always a nice touch to provide a non-alcoholic drink for those underage, sober, or driving. Our Cranberry Ginger Beer fits the bill. It’s so quick and easy to make too!

Just toss in some frozen cranberries, which help keep your drink nice and cold too, and have fun.

I also like that for holiday parties, I’m typically going to have the ingredients to make a this mocktail on hand for other recipes too.

So I don’t have to buy anything extra.

I like to serve mocktails with as much pizzazz as I would my favorite cocktail.

And during the holidays, I like to grab a copper Moscow Mule mug for this drink.

Being a metal drinking mug, it stays nice and cold.

Thanks to Sparkling Ice for sharing their recipe and photos with us.

Ingredients to Make a Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail

Makes 1 Drink – you may easily multiply the ingredients if you are serving several guests.

You’ll need:

  • Ginger Beer
  • Sparkling Ice, Cranberry Frost flavor
  • Frozen Cranberries, for garnish

Note: Sparkling Ice Cranberry Frost is a seasonal flavor.

If you can’t find it in your local store, you can find it on Amazon.

If you need another alternative, you may substitute Lite or Diet Cranberry Juice Cocktail.

To make the drink, you’ll need: a cutting board and knife, beverage glasses, and cocktail picks.

Only 35 calories! Yes please! This drink has so much flavor, you won’t believe it’s only 35 calories!

How to Make a Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail

Pre-Steps:

Fill your copper Moscow Mule mug with ice to chill.

Make the Drink:

Take your iced copper mug and pour ginger beer and Sparkling Ice Cranberry Frost.

Stir.

Garnish with frozen cranberries.

Do I have to use a copper Moscow mule mug?

If you don’t have a copper Moscow Mule mug, I like to make this drink in either a highball glass or a champagne flute.

It doesn’t impact the flavor or how you make the drink.

But if you want it to look really pretty, you can layer the berries.

Just add a bit of ice, then add some frozen cranberries.

Then alternate another layer or two of ice and cranberries depending on the size of your glass.
