Boozy Black Cherry Float – Champagne and Coconuts

Sparkling Ice

The boozy black cherry float is a delicious twist on a traditional float. Using Sparkling Ice as a mixer, it makes a delightful summertime cocktail. You can easily make a substitution to serve this as a non-alcoholic version too.

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream about two small scoops or one large scoop
  • 2 oz sparkling white wine champagne or prosecco both work very well
  • 4 oz Sparkling Ice black cherry
  • Pour sparkling white wine into a chilled glass.
  • Add vanilla ice cream to the chilled glass over the sparkling wine.
  • Top it off with Sparkling Ice Black cherry
  • Optional:  If you wish, you may garnish with an edible flower or with whipped cream and a cherry.
  • To serve as a non-alcoholic mocktail, simply omit the sparkling white wine. You may replace it with either additional Sparkling Ice, or you can replace the wine with club soda or ginger ale.
