While this may not be a traditional Irish drink, our Guinness Whiskey Cream Cocktail is made with some of Ireland’s most popular ingredients.

We’ve combined the delicious flavors of Irish cream, Irish Whiskey, and of course, some yummy Guinness Stour to make this drink.

Enjoy our Guinness Whiskey Cream Cocktail

Using some of the most popular beer and liquors from Ireland, our Guinness Whiskey Cream Cocktail is so yummy.

It’s a creamy drink that will be well-loved by those who love a great float.

The flavors combine similarly as they would in a float.

And while it’s not a float, we certainly won’t fault you if you decide to toss in a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The flavors just go that well together.

And just because it’s not a traditional lrish recipe, that doesn’t mean you can’t serve it for St. Patrick’s Day.

After all, it’s made with many of Ireland’s finest and most popular beer and liquors.

A Whiskey, Guinness, and Baileys drink that’s not an Irish Car Bomb

At first glance, when you hear that this drink uses Baileys, Jameson, and Guinness, you may expect that this is a recipe for a drink known as an “Irish Car Bomb” since the ingredients are really similar.

It’s not, and while we won’t get into the why here, we thought you may wish to read about the history of that drink.

So instead, we’ve crafted our own cocktail using the same ingredients with a twist that we think you’ll like even better.

It’s easier to make and goes down really smooth.

After all, what’s not to love about three of Ireland’s finest alcoholic ingredients being mixed together?

Ingredients to make a Guinness Whiskey Cream Cocktail:

Serves 4

  • 2 cups Cream, or Irish Cream flavored liquid coffee creamer
  • 4 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 4 oz Whiskey, we used Jameson
  • 8 oz Guinness Stout
  • 1 oz Irish cream syrup
  • Sprig of mint, for garnish

Note: If you’re not able to find a bottle or 6 of Guinness, you may also substitute another Irish stout in the recipe.

We also like Murphy’s Irish Stout and O’Hara’s.

Now, no one here is going to tell on you if you use a stout that you have in your refrigerator now that happens to not be Irish.

They will work for this recipe too, though we do have a fondness for making it with Guinnesss.

How to make our Guinness Whiskey Cream Cocktails:

In a cocktail shaker, add cream, whiskey, Bailey’s Irish Cream and Irish cream syrup.

Shake well to combine.

Pour over ice into four glasses.

Top with Guinness and gently stir.

Garnish with a sprig of mint.
